Well this is very disappointing news.  Ron Lawrence deserves better than this.  30 years of working for everyone, and I mean everyone, cooler heads should have prevailed! 


Brian, I am disappointed in you for letting {some} disagreement result in your quitting, and having a secret meeting. (pretty low) I expected much better behaviour from you.  We all knew that Ron has been physically hurting for a few years, and he occasionally rubs some of us the wrong way when he's not feeling good, BUT one has to consider the whole picture. 30 years of running the best show in the south-east, and better than most in the rest in the country.  For what?  He wasn't in it for the money nor for the fame.  No he was in it for all the rest of us.  And the rest of us enjoyed the result of all of his hard work and his personal sacrifices.  And we all had a good time.


Ron, all the best to you, you are # 1 in my book.
