[NJARC] $5 FM Radio Station

Gang,

I've been frustrated by the comparatively poor performance of tube-based
FM radios for a long time.  This is especially true in fringe areas,
like the Museum.   The Atlantic Highlands lie between us and the Empire
State building, about a 50 mile path.  Our Fisher Model 90 on a
4-element Yagi is just starting to hear WBGO acceptably, now that the
leaves are coming off the trees.  So I want to provide a local signal
with appropriate programming.

Found these on E-bay:

2 inches wide.

About 30 mW out., stereo,  pretty much broadcast quality, covers the
house will with a 25-inch whip, runs off a PC or mobile device with on a
single USB connection for audio and power.

There are some tricks.

Let me know if you're interested, and I'll write some of this stuff up.

Otherwise, I understand.

Regards,
Al
