[NJARC] Sony Radio Speaker Question 3.2 Ohm vs 8 Ohm

Thanks to all of you for your replies.  I will use the speaker that I have.

I can't decide if Sony deliberately or unintentionally made a speaker 
replacement necessary.  In the back of the radio, an ICF-2001, is a 
support post near the battery compartment.  One corner of the speaker's 
frame is screwed to the post.  It appears that on final assembly at the 
factory the front of the speaker was glued to the inside front of the 
radio (or could be that over the years something about the speaker made 
it stick).  Anyway, the speaker was screwed to the back of the case and 
stuck to the front of the case.  Even if I realized that this was the 
situation when I was opening it I doubt if I could have gained enough 
access to removed the screw from the back or free the speaker from the 
front.  The result was that the speaker cone was ripped from the speaker 
frame in prying open the case.  On YouTube there is a repair video of 
this same radio and it can be seen that the same thing happened to that 
one.  Thank you Sony.
