Thank you Alex,
The last of the Radio Shack's in Maine (Rockland) closed here last week. It was very sad from the standpoint of the customer's and of course the employees. I was there a couple of times over the last few week's of operation, bought some things at incredibly low prices and talked to some of the customers. Not that RS had much of what I needed over the last 10 years or so, they did have some things and even-though it tended to be pricey, I could get that role of solder if I needed it. Now, it's all memories and mail order for me.
Does anyone remember the RS Dictionary of Electrical Terms? Thick book about the size of War and Peace? Imagine how much that has changed since it went out of print.
Regards,
Joe Devonshire
