[NJARC] AK Model 36 with Y supply

I picked up an AK model 36 with matching power supply a few months ago that was destined for the dump.  It has no wooden case, and the model Y supply is missing the cap.  Tubes were pulled, but I think I have some for it.


I don't know much about these sets to know if what I have is worth restoring, or how easy it will be to find the missing parts.  Are the wooden boxes the same as similar sized sets (AK30, etc?) or are they an entirely different animal.


I kind of like the idea of getting this one running since I don't need to build\buy an eliminator, and the tubes are cheaper than '01As.  On the other hand, it's pretty rough.


Just curious on thoughts on whether this one's worth fixing or if I should let it go as parts to someone else who might be able to use it.
