[NJARC] NJARC Digest, Vol 159, Issue 8

A couple of months back I was searching eBay for a used CRT scope and 
stumbled onto the digital ones. Prices were as low as $25 I believe, 
some were kits, some completely setup. Did some quick research on them 
but never asked any questions here as to whether they are any good.

Field use would seem to be the most likely reason to buy one. How do 
they rate compared to a average CRT scope? The digital screens were 
usually small, 2-4 inches, I'm not sure about resolution. Most were only 
one channel and ~100MHz or less bandwidth. One 2 ch scope, DSO094, was 
going for $133 but prices were all over the place in general. Curious a 
to how usfull a portable scope like this is and it quality level, just 
asking.
