[NJARC] Skywaves' DX Tips - 1

Found the Cubans to be active, especially on the lower end of the band. Venezuelans: not so active, especially on 750. Usually strong, but not there the past two nights.

Thought I heard Radio Rumbos (Venezuela) but couldn’t get a clear ID.

R. Reloj is very active and easy to ID. Found the stateside stations to be a little more elusive. KXEL is strong, but the Florida and Texas stations haven’t been so this week.

Some interesting low power stations near me with great programming, but not much for the DX aspect.

All in all, conditions are not that bad. Not as good as it was the week before the contest, but that’s the way the signal bounces…
