Pretty sure this is for disabled veterans only.

The State of NJ is initiating a new $3,000 exemption starting with the 2017 tax year.
My accountant was not aware of this exemption so don't assume you tax person

 knows.
Below is the link to the State of NJ website describing the new exemption for veterans.

Form DD-214 needs to be provided in only the first year of claiming this exemption. Here is the National Archives website:
