Greetings i have an old vintage piece of a condenser tester. most likely no
working but could be an interesting item to a collector of old antique
items.
This is a very old piece of test equipment made by The Potter Co. of north
Chicago,IL model "A" to test paper by-pass condensers which this company
made.what little info i could find on this seems to be around 1926.the
condx of this looks good except for the ac line cord ,it is frayed and
there is a on-off switch mid way on the cord and i tested it and is
intermittent.am afraid to hook this up due to it's age.all the controls
turn ok have looked inside and it looks good.most of the parts are potted
w/ the black tar stuff.has 2 plugin's for a headset 2000 ohms and a place
to plug in the condenser you need to test. the operating instructions were
a stick on paper on the bottom which is loose and half is missing.this
should make a good conversation piece and sold as is due to it's age.let me
know if any interest. tnx Randy k4rhh rwcradiocollector at gmail.com
