[NJARC] Fwd: [DVHRC] Founder of Olson passes

Joe,

I remember going to the Olson Radio store on Main Street
in Buffalo during the 1950's, and stocking up on their
'Akrad' products (the name of their private label line).
Of course, 10 years later Radio Shack came along in the
area and swept up a lot of that business, but at the time
it was the only game in town. Either that, or order stuff
from Allied Radio (100 North Western Ave, Chicago) and
wait for the mailman.

Good memories for those of us out in the sticks.
