Message-ID: All, After the IA auction I am now the proud owner of a B&K 1077B television analyst. I bought this to help me fix the Pilot TV, but I do not believe it came with a manual (it does have one transparency, so at least it can be used, in theory). I did some basic searching and have found the schematic (on antiqueradios.com), but not the manual. Does anybody have a copy of it? I'm contemplating bringing it to the repair clinic, so I can at least "go through" it to see what it does. If it seems to work I'll try and use it on the pilot, which I'll likely bring along as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Regards, Matt -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... I like your phone's voice recognition feature. Your post reminds me of Victor Borge's famous routine at the Ford Theater with President and Mrs. Reagan in the audience, the Phonetic Punctuation. I had mentioned here that he has the vacuum tube manufacturing equipment that previously belonged to one of the oldest members of the society who retired from Sylvania vacuum tube division. This lead to him telling me to contact this group to see if anyone would be interested in taking the equipment and using it to further the hobby. I do not think he expects any remuneration. He just wants the equipment to go to someone who will use it for its intended purpose and be of help to others. He said that he simply has too many projects of restoration underway to be able to do justice to that endeavor. Larry lives in Arlington, TX, the mid-cities area between Dallas and Ft. Worth. I do not want to post his e-mail here, but if anyone is seriously interested, contact me privately and I will send his contact information to you. Best to the group always! I just stayed there this past weekend for the Nitrate Picture Show at the George Eastman House. This was a film festival that shows the original nitrate film prints of classic films. The Dryden Theater is one of only 3 places in the US that can screen the original footage as the films are extremely flammable. Fire codes in other places won't allow it. The Dryden is equipped with special projectors and safety equipment. Saw a pre-release print of the film Laura from 1944. Since all we see today are copies of the original films, you could not believe the visual fidelity of the original images. You must one day see an original nitrate print if you love the movies.
