Just remember that Marconi achieved a much longer distance by then also
using a coherer. Granted this is a small set, and a mile is questionable,
but, not impossible. I have about 20 coherer sets in my collection. Back in
2000, as a guest lecturer at Princeton for about 2 hours, I demonstrated
from one side of the table to the other with a similar set, HI. I was amazed
at the curiosity of the young graduate students. 73 - Mike
