Guys,
There’s a little more to this than the money.  Yes, I know I could sell it on eBay for much more than I paid for it ($500).  
First, I built the exact same kit with my Dad when I was 10 years old.  I recently restored it.  Heathkit AR-29 Receiver Restoration <https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3YtmA3keFTc>, 
Second, my 12 year old son wants to build it with me.  He likes to solder and is actually interested in electronics.  How can you put a price on that?
Third, it sounds pretty good too.
