Thanks for that link. -- Scary!!! Shows how dangerous it was back then.
People were desperate and scared – with good reason!
Not that we’re much better off these days!!!
Too bad we can’t download this stuff and broadcast it in the club museum.

  Listening to recordings of old radio shows like The Lone Ranger can be entertaining, but how about a nearly complete archive of live news broadcasts from during World War II?  Talk about bringing history alive! 

  A stash of 'forgotten' transcription disks used for time-shifting CBS network newscasts during the forties is being made available online.  Check it out here.
