Joe- just curious as to what you plan on servicing. Your power supply is pretty much good for car radios and maybe 1920's battery sets; a CRT tester is good for TV's or oscilloscope service and not much more; and as for a B+ supply, nearly all tube radios and equipment have B+ built in.
Choice of a signal generator depends upon what you will be working on.

Subject: Re: [NJARC] Suggestions for Tube Testers
My Gmail app screwed up and sent this message before I was done. To continueThe tube tester I have right now is a fairly good one that I got from Steve Goulart. It is a Sencore Mighty Might VII. Is a great machine and it seems very accurate but it does not test all the tubes I need to, namely big pin tubes. I was wondering if anyone could suggest a machine that is of decent quality but is also something I could afford, preferably under $150. I'm not uncomfortable with making repairs to one that has problems. I can hang on to the one I have for when I need to test compactrons and nuvistors. As far as other equipment goes, I recently picked up a very nice variable power supply at a garage sale for $10 . It does up to 36 volts at up to 20 amps . I'd also be interested interested in a decent signal generator, a CRT tester and something I can use as a B+ power supply. If anyone has any suggestions of equipment that would be of good quality but not too expensive I'd appreciate it.. Anything else I need outside of those parts?Thank for you help and advice as always

Greetings!
I've been trying to get together heavy equipment for a well set-up workbench for this oh so wonderful hobby :-$. I've got myself a decent Tek 315D oscilloscope, a good soldering station and multimeter, our friend Dave Sica said he would help me out with a Variac and a tube tester
Just remember
