[NJARC] Simpson Model 269, Series 2

Greetings NJARC members, 

I'm "downsizing" living quarters, so disposing some stuff I won't have room to keep in near future. So, I have a nice functioning Simpson Model 269, Series 2, " Ultra High Sensitivity Volt Ohm Micro Ammeter" , That is what it says on the meter face :-). Comes with the original owners manual, both in very good condition. I may even have the original box somewhere.....may find it as I "clean out" the house before sale...if I find it I will send to buyer of meter. 

I've heard the analog multimeters are better than the newer digital one for some tube equipment testing so I'm offering it to NJARC members first before trying ebay or qrz.com. I prefer a local pick up and can maybe bring it to a meeting at Infoage. I also have a" basket case" Hallicrafters SR20R, which I will throw in....it may be too far gone to restore.....maybe good for some parts. I will take $50.00 for both. 

I've attached photo of meter with manual, but I don't know if attached photo will be "scrubbed" from this message....if so and someone wants photo, email me and I will contact direct with photo attached. 

I will wait a few days to see if any interest from NJARC members....if not, will list it for sale on qrz.com next week.

PS: I also have 3 nice large vari caps, such as used for home brew antenna tuner ( no broken or bent plates), and a big double pole, double throw "knife" switch, such as used with "ladder line" or "open wire feed" transmitting antenna systems. Anyone hams interested email me and I will email photos. These will also be listed on qrz.com next week. 

PPS: While I'm thinking about it, I just remembered I also have a Johnson Matchbox Junior antenna tuner. It is the 275 watt version, but alleged by some to be overbuilt and able to handle considerably more power. Email for photos, etc.
