Welcome aboard John!
I have never seen the Model 170. I suspect that since it was produced during the early WW2 years, not many were made. It doesn't help that this analyzer was so expensive. But perhaps you might get lucky posting this to the NJARC reflector.
There is a picture and some specs at:

for those that are curious. Perhaps there is more information in the post WW2 red RCA Service Notes series of books?
Regards,
Jim

Hi fellow enthusiasts.
To complement my collection of
signal tracers, Precision Electronics, John F. Rider and RCA (Chanalysts),
T.R.F’s such as the Australian Neutrodyne,
-all repaired/restored and working again
I am searching the U.S.A. high and low for an RCA AUDIO Chanalyst Type. No. 170-A
Has anyone seen one or know of one for sale anywhere?
I have a daughter living in New York and hope to make one of your meets (such as this Friday) on a visit to her in the future
Best Regards
John Ward
