I can't speak for the technology but I'm pretty sure you need a license from EMI\ASCAP to rebroadcast a radio station in public without a license to the content being played.

Help!

My boss and I are trying to link in an FM radio to the store PA system
to replace the 6 hour loop of corporate crap. There is a box with
takes the digital music off an ethernet cable and outputs a mono
signal into an RCA cable, which goes to a Bogen amp in the attic. Can
I just plug that cable into the earphone jack of any old portable
radio, or do I need a dedicated FM tuner without an integral amp? If
so, does anyone have a cheap FM tuner handy?

Thanks!
Joe Giliberti
