Joe -
For some reason, AM DX has certainly been strange the last few months. I have seen that within the last 3 weeks or so, the stations from the “great white north” AM 740, AM 900, and others have not been as strong as usual. Even WKBW-1520 in Buffalo has not been the usual powerhouse. The funny thing is that the stations from the southern US has been unusually strong. WSB-750 in Atlanta has been stronger than AM 740 in Toronto. Another surprise was Monday night while tuning around, Radio Reloj was super strong at AM-790 like I never heard it that strong before. My last 2 weeks DX listening was done on a 6 tube RCA 16T4 radio with a 300 ohm old school twin lead strung out the window 50 foot long, 15 foot high in the backyard. My other antennas are currently grounded due to a storm traveling through the area as I type.
