You need an RF modulator to convert the video signal to an RF signal on
Channel 3 (or another channel.)

or

Unless your modulator has a 300 ohm / twinlead output, you'll also need a
coax-to-twinlead / 300 ohm to 75 ohm adapter:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/UHF-VHF-FM-Gold-Plated-75-300-Ohm-TV-Coaxial-Antenna-Cable-Matching-Transformer-/252192208865?hash=item3ab7d3b7e1:g:Of4AAOSwnH1WXBDD
and a short piece of coaxial cable to go from the output jack of the
modulator to the 75/300 transformer. You'll also need, of course, video
and audio cables to run from the DVD playr to the modulator.
Not that you'll likely be interested in saving 10 or 15 bucks, but several
of my 'white trash' setups utilize a defunct VHS video player as a "free"
modulator.
For an 'industrial strength' solution, you could use a Blonder Tongue Agile
Modulator with baseband video input. The little consumer-grade modulators
should be entirely adequate for what you're doing.
