[NJARC] Clarion call: weird electrical connector?

I replaced mine (the complete assembly) on my 1968 Pontiac Tempest many, 
many years ago.  The resistors are mounted in the plenum so they're 
cooled by the moving air (I guess heated air is better than no air 
circulation).  They get very hot, so re-mounting them on another 
substrate (big word-eh) might not be feasible.

I'm assuming you tried a GM dealer.
