A few months ago I used a totally rusted AK model H horn with frozen pot metal to experiment in adding Bluetooth. I grafted-in a hockey puck Bluetooth speaker bought on line for $9 shipping included. It was creepy to see this rusted horn playing away with no apparent connection to anything. Of course it sounded too good. With way too much bass. The solution is to tailor the audio in your MP3 files. Then it can sound as good as a perfectly adjusted Model M horn. I say M horn because I've never had one of the pot metal AK horns where you could still adjust the driver even if you are lucky enough to have one of the few that still have good coils. Putting the Bluetooth receiver under the sheet metal base of course radically cuts the reception pattern. For grins and giggles I have done most of the work on making a mold that will allow casting of a urethane resin base that is pretty RF transparent. Maybe that will get done before the spring but I have some radio projects with much higher priority to clear first. Robert
