Loose screen,  mine was 

I found it was glued only along each side with rubber cement.

I scraped off the residue (old glue) and with a toothpick added new glue.  It seems to be holding OK.  Don't over glue it, the white background is necessary for a clear screen.  Glue just the very edge. (Left-right)

Now to get busy with 10,000+ old resistors and capacitors I have lying around....  ;-)

To Chuck - mine didn't come with any paperwork - 
it was a complete mystery; you can learn by trial
