Walt,
Are you volunteering to just ensure website is online, or to take it over completely and do all the work making the web pages?
If you are volunteering to take it over completely, you have no idea what you're getting into. It is a lot of work, and then you get comments like yours to put up with.
Again, lighten up! Leave the worker-bees alone, we need them.
73, John
Webmaster: I've been there, done that, and still am one.

Now that you mention it, John, I would gladly assume the responsibility for ensuring that the NJARC website is online and updated with accurate information. I think the NJARC board owes its dues-paying members that much. And, John, I will not "lighten up" as long as I continue to direct members of the radio collecting community to the NJARC website as a source of information about our activities.

Outages do occur but the durations usually are short--certainly not two weeks. Are we paying for this service? If so, how much and with what kind of service agreement? Can we find someone else to host our site? I think it's time the NJARC board became engaged in this situation to resolve it.
