[NJARC] Looking for a Kindle battery

If anyone has a 1st generation Kindle, model D00111 and you're coming to 
the Friday meeting, please you bring yours. I picked one up at an estate 
sale but the battery is dead. Before buying a new battery I want to 
check and make sure the Kindle actually works (only paid $1 for it) 
before wasting $20 on a battery.

If you have the charger for the Kindle I can try using that to see it it 
will turn on. The next best thing would be if someone has a male coaxial 
plug, O.D. 2.35mm; I.D. 0.7mm, I can use that to power the Kindle from a 
5v supply I have, thanks. - Louis
