Alex
Perhaps you did some patent searches in your earlier life?

US patent: 4,477,817, October 16, 1984, Switching circuit including pin diodes for impedance matching

US patent: 4,105,944, August 8, 1978, Quiescent biasing of r-f power transistors for other than class A operation
Regards,
Jim

Happy Cold
 Year,

May you all be in a warmer place than my 3rd floor office--or the
construction site across College Avenue!  FYI and those in ham
circles, Wendell Anderson died just before Christmas:
www.philly.com/philly/obituaries/20140107_Wendell_Anderson__was_RCA_engineer.html.
His name rings bells with me for no obvious reason; he worked at RCA
Moorestown on classified projects so he left no open publication record.
He did, however, gain some notoriety for developing a system for receiving
and printing weather satellite images, and I wonder if anyone copied him.

Alex
