Folk,

One things that came out of this weekends activities was a lead on an 
audio recording of Major Armstrong. Alan Crosswell, who came down from 
Columbia U., pointed me to a recording made in 1948 at the dedication of 
WNYC's new 20KW FM Transmitter. The entire recording is on the WNYC

Can any of you NYC kids pinpoint the accent?

While we're on the subject, does anyone have the Marconi recording that 
was played at one of our meetings at the Sarnoff Library years ago?
