I HAVE BEEN USEING WD-40 FOR AGES ON POTS AND SWITCHS.NO DISASEMBLY REQUIRED.
THIS IS A KERESENE BASE CLEANER AND WORKS GREAT.

ALL THOSE OTHER CONTACT CLEANERS DO NOT LAST LONG.

WD-40-----TRY IT AND SAVE ALL THOSE BIG BUCKS.

OK repair guys, I have a couple of noisy pots that I probably will open up to clean and lubricate.  I have Radio Shack contact cleaner which is basically 1.1.1.2 Tetraflouraethane.  Is this the best stuff to use and if not what should one use?
