[NJARC] Radios in the NY Times store

Don't just look at the prices, look more closely at one radio in 
particular, Zenith Model T 2542 Danish Modern Radio - 1962, $725.00

Click on the photo to enlarge it. Notice a small scuff mark on the top 
left side edge of the cabinet, about the middle of the edge. Notice a 
pencil lead sized pock mark on the front left side of the cabinet, about 
half way down.

Now compare these same blemishes (there are plenty more to compare) to 
the same model listed on Paul Sanders' page at the Radio Attic web site 
http://radioattic.com/item.htm?radio=1100245

Maybe the Times used Paul's radio image, maybe they are the exact same 
radio. The Times says it's a 1962 model, Paul says 1963.

I found Paul's & the Times' page last Friday "after" I had just bought 2 
of these models for $20 each. Maybe I should try to get mine on the 
Times as a pair for $1000. Both still work but both need some repair.

If anyone has a schematic for this radio or it's earlier look alike 
cousin, the K-731, I need it to work on the electronics. - Louis
