[NJARC] Interference signals and recordings thereof

Monitoring Times magazine at one point had some good articles on intentional jamming. Lots of jamming was done to Voice of America in Europe but the USA also jammed Cuban broadcast stations there back in the cold war days. There is good coverage of these topics in the short wave press - and again Monitoring Times is a good source.

A scholar working with a German art sound group is looking for examples of
intentional radio interference, and perhaps unintentional as well (Northern
Lights, etc.). Can anyone suggest examples, for jamming radar, sonar,
homing systems, or Radio Free Europe, or encoding/hiding a message? Even
better, does anyone know where recordings of these types of sounds might be
 found?

 Thanks, Alex
