[NJARC] 6C5 vs 6F6?

 Hello Steve,
                      Does it have a 6L6 where a 6C5 or 6F6 should be? I'm confused here. Even though you may be able to sub a 6L6 with a 6V6 or 6F6 that doesn't necessarily mean its the correct tube, even if it works in your particular application. There are different bias and voltage requirements for the bigger tube(s). 


I'd go with what your schematic says and carefully check that each tube is in the proper socket.

My Grunow has two 6C5's where the manual shows 6F6's.

I think there's also 6C5 ( can read all the letters ) where the manul shows 
a 6C6.

It has a metal 6L6...didn't know it came that way???
