Hi Sam,

Apply you ohm meter between the "fat" pins.  Resistance of the filament  
or heater should be just a few ohms as opposed to infinite.

I don't recall 41X, but the older tubes like the 45's may be labeled 
345, 445, etc. The leading digit identified the manufacturer: 3 = 
Cunningham, 4 = DeForest.

You're confusing me.  The WR-6 does not use a 41.  Lineup should be 
'24's, '27's, and '45's.

Let me know if you need a schematic.
