THEY HAD AN INDEX FOR BRANDS TO HELP.
IN THE 1980'S I USED TO BUY CLOTH BY THE YARDS FROM A COMPANY IN LONG ISLAND BUT DO NOT REMEMBER THE NAME.

I DO NOT THINK FABRIC STORES WOULD HAVE ANY THING SUITABLE BUT YOU CAN TRY.
THERE IS FABRIC LAND ON RT.22W.

1.  how does one find the specific pattern/collar grill cloth for a specific 
radio?
2.  where to buy it?

How does one select the 'best' cloth style/color to use if that specific 
cloth is not avaiable?

As they seem to be rather 'pricey'...might a fabric store be a source for 
less expensive material?
