[NJARC] Ampmeter on 1935 Harley Davidson

I worked on many of those MCs and still have my 1953.  They are quite
reliable because there was little to go wrong.  The ammeter tells the
operator if its charging or not.  You don't have to know what voltage
indicates charging.  Keep in mind these were three brush generators.  The
third brush was the regulating brush which you would adjust to your driving
speed.  It did not have a voltage/current regulator just a simple cutout
relay which in later years would operate the GEN light that replaced the
meter.  Cars of that vintage used the same system.  Police MC with their
lights and radio used more complex electrical system.
