[NJARC] Vacuum tube exports

On this U.S. Census page, www.census.gov/industry/1/ma334q03.pdf, electron
tube and parts thereof accounted for $2.2 billion in 2003, a decrease of
31.5 percent from 2002.  Given the disappearance of CRTs since then, it
presumably has shrunk .  The best response among bewildered comments on the
Seattle Times article is that fluorescent tubes are also vacuum tubes and
major manufacturers have been making them domestically.
