Things have gotten worse...since my note.

I've just been running the radio to check voltages this morning...

Lost all audio now.

Did see very bad and ERRATIC voltage numbers on my 1st detector/oscillator 
6A8 G2 should be 145V...as low as 25v and meter jumping around to higher 
readings...one time I had physically moved the tube in the socket and saw 
erratic voltages...

My AFC 6J7 plate should be 145...it ranges from 25 to 200 depending on the 
band switch.

It appears that the front end has bad/loose connections 
somewhere...and/or..faulty tubes - I don't have a replacement 6A8 right 
now..

Radio 100% recaped..tubes had checked OK originally ( before seeing any 
voltage) ...got to re-check them now...

Got some digging to do...
