I wouldn't get all excited about Litz wire. Like I said, the feedback
is going to take care of the Q. Start with what you can lay your hands
on. You'll want something fairly thin. Plastic insulated wire is
preferable to enameled wire. Be emotionally prepared to change the
number of turns on the secondary to cover the desired frequency range
after you get the set working.
PVC pipe is preferable to a cardboard tube. Common inch-and-a-half
schedule 40 is almost 2" O.D. - close enough for government work.
I don't think the RF choke is really necessary in this circuit.
I also wouldn't get excited about Q-dope. If you wind the coil with
reasonable tension, it will stay put.

Also suggest you breadboard the set before you do a lot of careful
drilling and blasting.
