[NJARC] 116X working & smoking!

...smoking in the REAL sense...

I installed a new 10uf 450v electrolytic on the trans center tap to ground.

Checked it with an ohmmeter...got 1 Meg...seemed good to me.

Was listening on BC band..."warming up" for the contest!

After 1 minute, the top of the cap STREAMED smoke like a volcano!!!...more 
like the beam radiation from Quasar!!!

The previous one - rated only 160v - didn't pop...just smoked.

The negative lead goes to ground.

What the heck is going on?
