Hi all:

Being a "newbie" on Philco work...I came across an excellent place to 
educated on the details...the gent has 36 very good videos showing hands on

And...even demonstrates how WIRE ROUTING and cause/eliminate speaker

Regarding cleaning...I routinely use ( standard...NOT having pumice 
)GOJO...and anything/everything...and...it also makes old wood look 
better...won't "hurt" anything as it made for use on human hands.
