Between 6:30 and 7:45 PM, Monday evening I've been getting very results with real "light-weight" - a Sony SRF-M37W "walkman-style" radio and headset's  I've been using a TERK small AM loop.

720 WGN- Chicago, IL
740 CFZM - Toronto - "Zoomer Radio"
750 WSB - Atlanta, GA
750 YVKS - Radio Caracas p SS underneath WSB
760 WJR -Detroit, MI - "Spaton Network"
780 WBBM- Chicago
830 WCCO - Minneapolis, MN - ID followed by female announcer and commercials
830 WCRN - Worcester, MA - under.over WCCO
840 WHAS - Louisville, KY
870 WWL - New Orleans
870 Radio Reloj - under WWL - time signal and morse ID
1120  KMOX - St Louis, MO
1510  WLAC - Nahville, TN

That's about 10000 miles in a hour's worth of listening.
