This latest weekly antique newspaper (sometimes called Slater's paper) has a front page article on plastic radios with many good pictures.  The article was written by Donald-Brian Johnson and is quite well done, I could not fault much of any of it.  He talks about the history of plastic radios from the 30's up to the 50's and into the transistor age.  He also talks about catalin radios but then shows none in the pictures.  Prices are given for the pictured radios and they are somewhat high but not out of reason.
