Exactly - I have both the 2445 and the 2465 and both are great analog
scopes. These can be obtained on eBay for a reasonable price. I also have a
couple of Agilent digital scopes. One is very light and relatively
inexpensive, but, I do not have access to it now, as it is in storage, to
share the model number.  Recently I bought a couple of Fluke 97 portable
scopes. These are neat, fully portable, battery operated, have a 2 channel
digital scope on an LCD display, and can also be used Just as a DVM. Lots of

Dave,

You don't necessarily have to go digital to get cursors.  There are many
nice analog scopes that have on-screen cursors.  Scopes such as the Tek
2400 series (2445, 2465, etc.) have on-screen cursors that can measure
voltage, time, frequency.
