Here in Titusville the power went out at 7:25 PM on Monday. No damage here, but the power lines are either down, or tangled in the trees in several sections of Hopewell Twp. Rt 29 is a mess with poles slanted, and a transformer knocked off the pole. JCP&L has not communicated with us since Tuesday. Same lack of communication as last year. Not one JCP&L
truck has been seen in the Hunterdon or Mercer Co. area all week. As Joe Cro mentioned, Bucks Co. is also a mess. Sections of Washington Crossing, PA have power while just across the street it is still dark. New Hope, PA is the same. They are using a generator to power the traffic signals.

Hi All from 12 miles south of Bordentown.

Started everything that would run and moved them up the hill, away from the
ancocas Creek. That includes antique cars, lawn tractor and log splitter.
hey all had water issues from Irene. Also removed or lifted everything from
he garage floor or almost everything. (A lot of Sam's folders, other paper
oods and console radios went under water from Irene.) This effort paid off as
he creek barely rose out of it's banks. Too bad I didn't do it last year.

No wind damage to house or property excepting a few tree limbs. But power did
o out for about 51 hours but who's counting. Made use of my 1200 watt Agway
enerator powering the house a little bit at a time. That way I had water when
eeded, refrigerator and freezer, hot water (to shower) from the oil burner and
ights. I connected the analog TV to the antenna via a digital converter (cable
ut) and fired up the wood stove. Food preparation was a little limited since I
ouldn't power the electric range but we did alright. Able to use a crock pot
nd microwave instead.

My daughter lives on one end of my road and a friend on the other and neither
ave power. My generator is now doing service at my neighbor's.

Dick, AKA Mr. Majestic, survived in Haddon Heights and Mt. Holly so his radio
ollection is intact. But he doesn't know about his property in Ocean City.

Aaron
