Down here in Merchantville, no real problems...Moderate rains, and heavy winds.Never lost power (Though I just reported a snapped tree on power lines nobody noticed!) And a house a block & a half down the street had a tree go through the roof around 2am Tuesday. But my place survived-and my WWII generator is about 95% back together! Just in time for the NEXT storm!

Hello John,
I was wondering the same thing and thanks for asking!
The power has been out here in Washington Crossing, Pa. since 7:45PM on Monday, and telephone service has been disrupted between the various local exchanges. The whole town seems to be shut down with the myriad of business closed. It’s the same in Yardley and Lower Makefield,Pa. New Hope is the same way. You’ll try to make a local call and will get a message that there is equipment trouble.
I suffered a downed tree and lots of limbs. My main 260’ dipole came down in the storm though I’m able to tune it on all bands with one leg laying on the ground!
No water damage to mention, Thank God! Overall I’d say we fared pretty well in the storm considered what it could have been.
BTW, I heard from Al Klase, N3FRQ and he and Peggy are without power but otherwise doing well. Ditto from John Tyminski. He had power restored and things are somewhat getting back to normal in hi s locale of Bordentown,NJ.
I’ve heard from several (non NJARC members) from NYC and Connecticut that unfortunately didn’t fare that well.
I’m very glad to hear that you and Sherry are doing well and that you didn’t incur any damage, and that your antenna is still a-hanging!
Best regards and the very best of luck and prayers for all of our lives to get back to normal again.
Mod-U-Later,
Joe Cro N3IBX
