Here's a link to the old dial-stringing diagrams:

You go to the index and find the model number of your diagram. That, in turn, will tell you the diagram number that covers your radio. Then download the part of the manual that contains your diagram.
I didn't see either of the models you listed. However, the Silvertone Models 4686 and 4791 have diagrams that look exactly like what you've described. The diagram number is 465. Hopefully, this will do the trick.
