Everyone,
Thanks for the entries so far for the "Burma Shave" rhyming contest.
We have about 35 items and counting, and some look really good -
and some look more like my poetry, but keep trying. We really appreciate
your efforts, and keep them coming. After all, we want to give Ray Chase and
his fellow judges some difficult decisions.
Second item. We need coverage for the museum this coming Sunday
(yes, it's the day after the swapmeet) and also on Sunday, April 29.
Volunteers?
And item 3. Starting May 5 the museum will be opening on both
Saturdays and Sundays. WE NEED YOU. At the request of some
members, the Docent Manual for the museum is posted on the
NJARC website. If you are concerned about it, look at the
manual first and see that it's not complicated. Then volunteer
to work a Saturday or Sunday. This is the Club's museum,
visitors like it, all we need is YOU.
Thanks.

ps - see you at the swapmeet - Parsippany, this coming
Saturday
pss - Here's an item that doesn't fit the entry requirements.
Too long for the signs and nothing about the museum.
But I like it, and I think you might too. It's from Ed Papson
If to you,
plate current's a joke
don't complain
ignore the smoke.
Fixing a radio,
should you ignore
the HV interlock ,
you'll be on the floor.
With solid state
its all no show
at least with tubes
there is a glow.
