No- Two people did... lol... I mainly wanted them to go away at this point- I think my high water mark around 6 of them(!) mostly antique... When I got the Lab-Volt 798 a couple years back, I started trying to move them out, as I did not need so many. I gave one to a friend(a Precision 500A or B or something), and the others just sat there, toted out for ham fests and yard sales, then put back. I had one guy buy THREE of them for $40! A working Heathkit O-11, with the manual, graticle & all, that he wanted for his son who is an electrical engineering student. I'd recommended it when he asked which I'd suggest, as it has all the directions, schematics, etc. so he could use it as a learning tool. He also bought my two Tektronix doorstops- one without tubes, and one working, but not really utilized by me, for him as well. He came back for those two: he'd told his son, who asked his professor, who said to grab them, not worry condition, so he did. I was VERY
HAPPY- the money wasn't really the point for me on this one, THE ROOM WAS! I gained about a cubic yard of space in the basement. I have to find the manuals for him next- I saw them recently, and got his number so I can call him when I find them.
The fourth one I sold for about $5 at Gloucester County Hamfest yesterday... Had someone interested in it, and we did a little haggling, but I did let him know that while I had gotten a trace on it before, it does have a couple bad caps I knew of...
I always try to tell people I sell something to EVERYTHING I know about it, so they can be prepared, and also get a fair deal.
Now I need to find homes for a few signal generators, VTVMs, etc... and get my work shop down to one operational of each piece, and one spare.
Scott

Wow, Scott, 4 oscilloscopes in one yard sale. Did one person buy them all?
