[NJARC] GC Hamfest

Hi Guys!
Just got back from the Gloucester County Hamfest, and while a little smaller than usual, was really fun. I sold a few things- I have been trying to thin the herd, and get $$$ together for the Red Ball MV Rally next weekend, to help finance the Dodge WC-51 I am restoring, so I had a nice tailgate spot. And yesterday, I had a yardsale!(Township wide, no less!) I managed to sell all 4 of my surplus oscilloscopes, so I am down to just what I need there! Sold a few more things today, enough to reduce the fullness of the trunk, but still have a bit of test equipment to go.


As to finds I made at GC, I did not look to buy much: only took a few $$ with me to give to John Dilks for something, but never ran into him. I did cull a $20 out to buy something I wanted- An Hallicrafters SX-28 receiver! It is a panel mount job, although I could have bought the one with the original case. Wish I had, but oh, well! I went over to talk to the guy, but saw it walking away as I got there. It is in ok used shape, but needs a recap, among other things. But I thought I would mention it, just to mess with John Ruccolo, whom I usually see there, but did not this year. Yep, John- Hallicrafters SX-28 for $20.0 WITH all the knobs!!! (Needs a meter though, and I just may have one!)
