These trends show that technical hobbies live on among the young.

I saw one guy who made a Morse sounder to sound out RSS feeds from his
computer.

Another was doing aerial photography using a kite, disposable camera, and
an ingenious timer using bubble gum and toothpicks or something like that.
Great results.  Got his kite hung up in the mast of one of the historical
ships in SF and a pissed-off 70-year-old ship volunteer had to go retrieve
it.  Ooops.

Glad to see a maker shop being established at InfoAge and our group
represented at a maker event.
