[NJARC] Need Some Copper Strips

OK guys and gals, here's a challenge for us.
At Kutztown we glommed onto a huge Tesla coil to make bigger and better sparks for our science lab. This came from a PA high school that was being demolished and was saved from the dumpster. It's over 6' high and has a nice motor driven rotary spark gap. The secondary (the hard part to make or find) is well made and in good shape. The primary coil form is there but unfortunately the primary coil copper is gone, probably to the scrap yard. There were 15 turns of about 2" wide copper strip spiral wound. So - - anyone think of a way to obtain copper strips 2 to 2.5 " wide about 1/32" thick or less with a total length of 135', yes I said 135 feet! I told you it was a big coil. Preferably one piece but we could splice separate pieces. Might be willing to try aluminum since copper is so dear. Any other ideas welcome.
Ray
